The EU and NATO have, both, resolved to build more pressure on Russia after what European leaders described as further escalation in the conflict. The response comes after Germany talked of Moscow being responsible behind a failed drone attack at the Halle Airport, while Russia has continued to deny these allegations.
EC President and NATO Secretary General, both, have warned that Russia’s actions were becoming increasingly reckless and have expressed the need for coordinated response. The EU is considering further sanctions targeting Russia’s military sector, while stronger measures against Russian diplomacy networks are also being discussed.
The latest developments have increased tensions over Russia’s alleged use of sabotage, cyberattacks and other forms of warfare across Europe.
